The All Progressives Congress candidate for the Ukwa East/West Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, Chief Sam Okezie Nwogu, has called for peace and unity among the people of the constituency as the ember months begin.
Nwogu made the call in a New Month message to residents of Ukwa Federal Constituency on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gradually intensify.

He also prayed for divine protection for families, businesses and travellers throughout the ember months, while wishing the people continued prosperity.
Nwogu said, “As we journey together towards the 2027 General Elections, I pray for God’s wisdom, love, and strength to guide us. Our bond as one people is our greatest asset.”
He appealed to the people to continue living in harmony as he seeks their mandate to represent the constituency at the House of Representatives.
Chief Nwogu said he aspired to “propel Ukwa Federal Constituency to the next level,” while calling for peaceful participation in the electoral process.
He also prayed that God would grant the people strength, protection and unity, and shield their families, businesses and journeys during the ember months.
