Speaking to State House correspondents on Thursday after a courtesy visit to the President, Okonjo-Iweala revealed that their meeting focused on the launch of a landmark initiative the Women Exporters Fund for the Digital Economy.
The WTO chief commended Tinubu’s administration for achieving initial economic
stability through its reforms.
However, Okonjo-Iweala emphasized that stability must now be followed by sustained growth and strong social safety nets to cushion the effects of economic reforms on vulnerable Nigerians.
