Prince Justice Nonso Ujoumunna, PhD born into the royal home of the late His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr Amb. John Chijioke Ujoumunna C.P., Eze Oha 1 of Isiala Akpaa Autonomous Community in Umuanyim Village, Isiala Akpaa Autonomous Community in the Osisioma Ngwa North State Constituency of the Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State has declared to represent the good people of Osisioma North State Constituency under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State Assembly in 2027
Dr Justice, who lecturers in Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Social Science, Abia State University, and a postgraduate researcher at the University of Liverpool, School of History, Languages, and Cultures, and currently a PhD holder in publishing from the prestigious Rivers State University in the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Education, Justice, known for his doggedness and stellar support for humanity and community development stated that it’s operation show your score card.
As a university don and an internationally recognised researcher who not only dwells in teaching and research but also believes in community service. Dr Justice, through his Ikemba Osokwa Foundation, has positively impacted and influenced the lives of his family members, friends, community, and Osisioma-Ngwa, to say the least.
Below are a few community projects to his credit. All are his personal efforts to improve the well-being and welfare of his constituents.
1. Nine (9) free ozonised pipe-borne water across communities in Osokwa, to be extended to other wards in the Osisioma-Ngwa-North state constituency
2. Assisted eight (8) meaningful graduates to school and work in England, UK, without any extra expenses on their heads. 3 of them are from Osokwa Ward 6.
3. Donated farmlands free of charge and fertiliser to 50 women in Osokwa to support the farming system annually, a gesture that commenced in 2020 to date
4. Annual jamb registration for Osisioma Ngwa North citizens
5. Annual WEAC registration for Osisioma Ngwa LGA youths
6. Facilitated admissions of Osokwa sons and daughters into professional courses (public health, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory science, law, etc.) in the various tertiary institutions in Nigeria and also financial assistance to assist in their fee payment
7. Completed the 4th batch of 10 persons who received a 1.5 million naira soft loan across Osisioma Ngwa LGA.
8. Facilitated the employment of 3 Osisioma Ngwa sons as lecturers at Abia State University during the late Prof. Uche E. Ikonne’s tenure as vice-chancellor.
9. Organised and formed the association named Ukwa-Ngwa Brain Builders that brought all Ukwa and Ngwa lecturers together for the first time.
10. Donated a Toyota car to a young man who needed it in Osisioma Ngwa.
11. Donated recently in January 2024, a minibus to an Osokwa son to support his family.
12. Sponsored 3 youths of Osokwa to the UK
13. Free medical treatment and outreach were completed in 2023 for all who needed it, including free eyeglasses.
14. Opened over 200 accounts at Access Bank for direct touch empowerment, where members receive tokens from time to time.
15. Supported community members in paying medical treatment/bills over the years
16. Completed installation of a few solar panels on village roads
17. Sponsored transformer refurbishing for the community on different occasions
18. Supported the construction of church buildings across Osisioma Ngwa while promoting Christianity
19. Supported in building Civic Hall in Isiala Akpaa
20. Annual distribution of Christmas and New Year food items
21. Free medical outreach and eye surgery with reading glasses to over 50 members of Ikemba Osokwa
22. Launched a 5-Year Free Health Initiative partnership with a Prestigious Hospital in Aba.
