During the new year festivities, Chief Chukwuemeka Felix Ebere, son of the former Ukwa West local government Chairman Chief Felix Ebere, the Senior Legislative Aide to Honourable Benjamin Kalu, and a Board of Trustees Member of the New Ukwa Progressive Initiative, gifted the Ogwe Women ₦500,000.00 to mark the new year celebration
He described the donation as a gesture of gratitude for their steadfast support and a way to celebrate the new year on January 1, 2026. “I am happy to be with you and to partner with my people. Reaching out through calls and celebrating with our mothers in goodwill is the best way. Please accept my token of appreciation for your efforts in keeping the Ogwe community strong, ” he said.
The women, expressing deep gratitude, praised Chief Chukwuemeka Felix Ebere for his generous gift, which brought them great joy. They responded with songs and prayers, wishing him abundant blessings for the new year, far exceeding his expectations.
